The GizmohloffIn response to customer demand Tri-Sled has released the 'Gizmohloff', a new Gizmo model which brings together the refined format of our flagship sports trike with the world-leading Rohloff internally-geared hub. Rather than offer the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 as a seperate add-on to our existing Gizmo models, we decided to create a new model that maximises the strengths of both the Gizmo and the Rohloff, bringing them together into one optimilised machine. Gizmo accessories
All Gizmo models come standard with a full chromoly Gizmo rack (compatible with tail light and reflector brackets and suited to most quick-release pannier systems), a Tri-Sled SLD flag and a water bottle holder fitted to the back of the carbon-fibre seat. Tri- Sled also stocks a range of accessories recommended for the Gizmo model, including Gizmo travel bags, pannier bags, mud guards, lights, pumps, locks, spare tubes, speedos, tyres and tools. Accessories can be fitted on request. Don’t take our word for it!"One very nice frame feature (of the Gizmo) is its ability to break down for shipping and transport.
...Tri-Sled offers a very nice soft-side case for the Gizmo. It leaves plenty of room for racks and
panniers so that you can carry your trike and all the gear for a weekend tour in one collapsible
package." Check out Bryan's review of the Gizmo I. "The Tri-Sled Gizmo proved to be excellent touring machines, stable and comfortable even when loaded.
They acquitted themselves well on country roads, the steepest of hills, and the bike paths and traffic
of Paris." Check out David and Heloisa's account of their journey through France on Tri-
Sled Gizmos. Riding a Tri-Sled Gizmo recumbent has been described as "a blast" by the fastest man in the world, Sam Whittingham, and the Managing Editor of Bent Rider Online, Bryan Ball. Bryan says our seat is "one of the best recumbent seats (he’s) ever sat on", while John Axen of Recumbent & Tandem Rider Magzine says he's "never seen a simpler modled seat that makes so much sense". Bryan also describes the Gizmo experience as an "addicting ride", while Sam says its "affordable and lots of fun". Check out some excerpts from their reviews. Take our word for it!Tri-Sled designer and director Ben Goodall, and partner Yolande, cycled through Vietnam in 2007 using Tri-Sled Gizmos.
