Tri-Sled Gizmo Compact Sports Trike

Gizmo stands out from the pack!

Tri-Sled's well-established Gizmo Compact Sports Trike is a great 'all-rounder' recumbent featuring direct steering, lightweight design and the most comfortable recumbent seat on the market. Suitable for touring, commuting, day riding and racing, Gizmo has been developed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. Tri-Sled offers the Gizmo model in three formats which are listed below.

Some of the features of our Gizmo model are:

  • Unbelievable handling – Next generation steering geometry and refined layout makes the Gizmo arguably the best handling trike in the world.
  • Reverse mainframe – The major structural components are placed where they are needed the most. This configuration results in less than half the normal lateral flex, one of the most common problems with recumbent trikes.
  • Carbon-fibre seat – Gizmo features an exclusive Tri-Sled designed seat with built-in shock-reducing flex and the world’s first functional recumbent headrest. Guaranteed not to “rattle your eyeballs”!
  • High-tech open-cell foam seat pad – Our bacteria resistant seat pad restricts water logging. No more “ recumbent sweaty back”!
  • Compact size – Gizmo is small enough to be wheeled through doorways and public transport tollgates. It can easily be stored in small apartments with minimum fuss, and dismantled down to suitcase size for travel.
  • Custom accessories – Gizmo comes standard with a lightweight chromoly rack (compatible with tail light and reflector brackets and suited to most quick-release pannier systems), a Tri-Sled SLD flag and a water bottle holder fitted to the back of the carbon-fibre seat.

    Gizmohloff

In response to customer demand Tri-Sled has released the 'Gizmohloff', a new Gizmo model which brings together the refined format of our flagship sports trike with the world-leading Rohloff internally-geared hub. Rather than offer the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 as a seperate add-on to our existing Gizmo models, we decided to create a new model that maximises the strengths of both the Gizmo and the Rohloff, bringing them together into one optimilised machine.

    The Gizmohloff features:

  • Tri-Sled custom chain guard and keeper
  • Specially designed cable routing to suit the Rohloff hub
  • Rohloff drop-outs
  • Sinz ISIS crank set in any length from 135-175mm (in 5mm increases)
  • Sinz ISIS bottom bracket
