Maxi Bike

Maxi Bike is the ultimate practical shopping and load-carrying alternative for businesses and urbanites. Building on a popular European load carrying bike design, Maxi Bike has been 'built for Australian conditions'. It maintains excellent stabilty with heavy loads by carrying the load directly above the front 20 inch wheel. However, perhaps this bike's biggest advantage is its simplicity. Forget trailers and panniers... just throw everything in the front tub (or on the front rack) and you're off!

During 2006, Maxi Bike was trialed by a number of Melbourne couriers and inner city dwellers. After positive feedback we decided to make Maxi Bike a member of Tri-Sled's product range. Maxi Bike was further refined in late 2007 when we were commissioned to build a fleet for an inner-Sydney courier company.

It's not hard to imagine Maxi Bike's practical possibilities. It can carry just about anything you can think of - food, plants, shopping bags, boxes, documents, and for the quintessential Australia, it will even carry a slab!
