Tri-Sled is committed to designing useable, efficient, affordable recumbents and our model range reflects this. Focusing on these ideals for so long has left some people wondering what would happen if we left all these to one side and focused on just one goal… speed! Well we fought it off for this long but have finally relented! Tri-Sled Nitro is a fresh approach to low racing geometry. The 16-inch wheels on the front and rear give it a compact size and a short wheelbase. Combine this with a short steering stem and the bike has great slow speed stability, a tight turning arc and excellent recovery feel. You’ll turn heads at your next criterion or drag race on this speed machine. In 2006 we made further improvements to Nitro including the unique front fork and a switch to disc brakes for even better leg clearance. We have changed the compound of the material the rollers are made of to further improve efficiency. Go on... you know you want one!
